Broccoli Rabe and Gorgonzola Sauce

  • 1- ½ package Verdurabrand Rabe                
  • 3 Tbsp crumbled Gorgonzola
  • 3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)      
  •  Hot pepper
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic

Prepare Verdurabrand Broccoli Rabe per package instructions. In a medium pan, add EVOO. Let heat, then add peeled garlic. Let garlic caramelize. Add hot pepper(if desired). Remove pan from stove and add the broccoli rabe. Hold away from you, because oil may splatter. Add remaining juice from rabe. Add gorgonzola and mix. Then add broccoli rabe and gorgonzola mixture to gnocchi or any type of pasta. This sauce can also be used as a topping for Filet Mignon. ENJOY!!!
